to serve and protect
As of early June, del.icio.us officially added me into the mix. Since joining the team, my tasks have included building new servers, taking James to the Shake Shake, setting up various network monitoring utilities, eating with the VCs at the Shake Shack, coding, sitting in a lawn chair dreaming of the Shake Shack, and starting a new diet.
Yesterday, I racked five new servers, bringing the current total up to 14. This will allow us to implement some power-hungry new features within the coming week or so.

Any hints on what the new features might be? Would they include making the inbox fully dynamic again?

The ‘feature’ I’d most like is to get rid of that “a verification email has been sent” message.
Good luck on the Shake Shack diet!

Lori, check out http://digbig.com/rssdigest for a tool to turn the RSS feed of your del.ico.us archive into a display for your site.

Hi, a new client told me yesterday that he’s been getting 404 msgs several times and is only now able to access a second account he set up. I told him not to get discouraged, that del.icio.us and other web services are up and available the vast majority of the time, an maybe the addition of servers this weekend was related. Any thoughts or help? It’s pretty important as I really want him to adopt the world of Web 2.0 and help spread the word to other cool non-profits.

Marshall, the 404s were due to a database problem as we were rolling out the new server software. Things should be better now. Have your client contact support@del.icio.us directly for help with the account.

I’m a newbie here, but is there a way to show my links in alphabetical order instead of chronological? I use a userscript at home but when I’m at other computers i’d like to view my links in a way that makes sense to me.

Would it be possible to add swf to the filetypes supported by /system:filetype: ? thanks.
Great site by the way.

Since a few days I can not enter to my account (pacoraya) neather from my work computer nor from my house computer, but runs correctly in any other computer that I have tried. Mozilla and Explorer give me a message “Loadind” and “Waiting for del.icio.us” but never load anything.
