we rolling
Many blogging platforms work well with del.icio.us. But if you are looking for a really simple way to have your latest del.icio.us bookmarks displayed as part of your website, you might want to try our linkrolls. Using it is as simple as pasting a line of HTML into your blog sidebar.
Instead of forcing a specific style, we’ve tried to make them unobtrusive enough that they should blend in with the look of your blog. You can also get your bookmarks as a javascript object, if you want to use them in your own script.

Doesn’t seem to be working. I keep getting “Error: Delicious is not defined” in firefox. Sounds like it will be cool when it works though :)

Worked great for me. Thanks for this feature!

You’ve got spam! The casino’s are starting to post their links over and fucking over again all over the front pages so that they can be listed in things like Populicio.us. It’s irritating! Perhaps you should use one of those letter/number validation things for creating new accounts….

Great tool but just nearly accessible… Missing 2 little things:
1. a with a link to my del.icio.us is needed for users who have disabled javascript
and
2. the inserted image needs an alternative text

del.icio.us提供linkroll
我在del.icio.us的Blog看到了這篇新聞
del.icio.us的網站上提供了簡易版的js,只要連到linkrolls就可以產生一個屬於自己的blogroll,而且還可以設定只要顯示特定的tag(這樣就可以做出blogroll的效果)。比

Feature request: Include the timestamp of each bookmark in its object.
Example (using the key “m” for “modified”):
{u:”http: //barcamp.org/index.cgi?WebSecurityDiscussion”,n:”KPY\’s slides on integrating petnames/\”passnames\” into the Web browsing experience”,d:”BAR camp: WebSecurityDiscussion”,t:[”web”,”security”,”ui”,”capabilities”],m:new Date(2005,08,22)}

This little linkroll service just made my blog a whole lot more dynamic! Thanks del.icio.us folks!

This is just great and it works fine with my blog. Many thanks!

Great feature!
but I need some help, because I am no javascript pro. If anyone could spare some time, I would appreciate it.
1. The script uses list elements like (li) and (lu). I would like to use the (br) tags instead, because the list tags don’t look nice on my weblog (powerred by antville)
2. I would like to change the backround color.

I really wish I could have a way to publish them inline with my blog posts, sorta like what Jeff Veen does. I tried to figure out his little tutorial, but no can do for a lazy dummy like me. I would really appreciate some help on that.

Is there any way for the blogroll to be divided up by bundles so it’s not just one long list? Or do I have to create separate blogrolls for each bundle and then create my own labels?

Is the js limited to diplay of only 100 items, or can I tweak the js to a number large enough to diplay ALL my links?
Thx,

“OPML” can I IMPORT to del.ico.us from an OPML format file?
That would be handy because my TypePad TypeLists EXPORT to OPML format.
Thx,

I was wondering why the linkroll feature doesn’t have some of the features of the API, or am I just missing something.
I really want the linkroll to return the datestamp for a del.icio.us entry? I would love to flag newer posts with a specific css class. I know the API allows you to filter by a specific date, but I’m not sure how I could get that to work for what I need.
It would rock to have posts flagged as:
.delicious-posts-new {}
instead of just
.delicious-posts {}
if they were newer than x number of days.
ex. http://del.icio.us/feeds/json/inkspeak?count=20&dt=2005-08-20 although this would return 20 entries for that date.
Any thoughts?

RSS feeds haven’t been updating for days now… what’s up with that?

Regular, substantial entries have been thin on the ground lately for a number of reasons. One of which is the time I’ve been investing in a side project along with my friends Stephen and Matthew. This one is really just for people who live in my city.

Why did the URLs change? Populicious is dead. I assume this is the RSS feads not updating. I am a big user of del.icio.us and have 700 bookmarks. However I am quite frustrated that Populicious and trendaliciuous are dead.
These two services provide me with a service that is invaluable. Please fix the feeds or add that functionality.
Brett | Sep 16 2005 at 3:47 pm
I echo frustiated’s concern about populicio.us.
The interface is excellent, and the time management options allowed for granular selection not available from the del.icio.us/popular page.
Thank you for an excellent bookmarking service, please know that I would love you EVEN MORE if you would restore functionality to allow populicious to begin again serving your beautiful links.
Thank you.

I’m not really good at JavaScript so I may be missing something obvious here.
The pages I want to include my delicious links in are in Latin-1 encoding, while the links always seem to come in UTF-8. Would it be possible to either specify to the encoding I need or to simply convert all non-ASCII characters to the corresponding HTML character entities?
bluestan | Sep 20 2005 at 2:54 pm
that’s cool!!!
thanks del.icio.us!!!
bluecockatoo | Sep 21 2005 at 3:46 pm
I’m new to del.icio.us so I am still learning the features. I want to use the linkroll on my site for my urls but I also want to be able to retrive a list of my tags. Can someone tell me what url I can use in the script to do this or if it’s possible? If it’s not possible through the script, is there a version of the RSS url that will give me the tag list? I haven’t been able to find this in the help documentation.
Any advice appreciated!
Thanks.

This works fine, but it does not work with the new Movable Type templates and styles. Does anybody know how to adjust it so it will blend in better?
Thank you.

More feeds! That’s just great :) I can see that the linkrolls can be sorted alphabetically, too bad we can’t do this with the RSS feeds.
I wrote a little PHP script to fix that. The RSS feeds are sorted via an XSLT transformation. You can check it out at http://wistinga.sourceforge.net/aricious/
alf | Nov 6 2005 at 6:00 pm
just an example: [ http://www.areino.com/alf/links.asp ]
the tags (those with more than 2 entries) are displayed at the top. initially it displays the my latest bookmarks. if you click on any tag, it displays the bookmarks associated with that tag.
it uses basic ASP/VBScript with MSXML3 (XMLHTTP) to parse the feeds. if anyone wants the code, i’ll be happy to provide it.

Sadly it doesn’t work on Yahoo! 360 degrees (http://360.yahoo.com/).

Request: provide a second API password that just offers read-only access to data. This could be fed to various importers, et cetera, knowing they will not be able to tamper with any of your content.

I’m having trouble with the CSS feeds on my linkroll. I want to have more spacing between the links, and have the links be a different color than the title (My Del.icio.us links). Any advice, suggestions on how to do this?
