- We’ve finally re-done our help section. An RSS feed for new features and changes will be coming soon.
- Include your tags in your blog via our new tagroll.
- Navigating is now easier with editable breadcrumbs.
- Hardcore Internet Explorer fans can rock-out style with an Active Channel feed. Gopher support is under consideration.

What about AntiSpam features in del.icio.us? Where are they?
Thomas Scholz | Nov 13 2005 at 3:54 am
Oh, this mangled your database, I guess.
I have now same strange duplicates with wrong names and tags in my bundles.
See: http://scholz-webdesign.de/temp/delicious.nonsense2.png
(Yeah, I use an user stylesheet.)
I have no tag “Technology” and the counter says (2) while there are in fact 3 items visible. The second is not mine and even if it were mine, it couldn’t show up *there*.

del.icio.us tagroll
This is just one of the new del.icio.us features. Do you really need them? I dont know, but pretty toys, like many other things in web 2.0.

Thomas — just a minor cache issue. If you have any further problems, drop a note to support at del.icio.us.
saurier | Nov 13 2005 at 2:37 pm
Great. Any chance that you add a blacklist of tags which won’t be displayed for the tagroll feature?
(I use a few tags (usually with a prefix) in a way which only makes sense to me; it would be nice to be able to filter them out)
theMezz | Nov 13 2005 at 10:44 pm
Love the tagrolls, just added then to my web page. thanks
zealander | Nov 13 2005 at 10:50 pm
I don’t understand where did “subscribe” link disappeared? As well as anti-social function. How can I now subscribe to some users and ignore the others?
Brian | Nov 14 2005 at 12:19 pm
It would be cool to have a keyboard shortcut that takes the focus to the editable breadcrumb field so I don’t have to use my mouse.
Typewriter | Nov 14 2005 at 12:36 pm
The tagrolls are awesome but I can’t get the sizing to work correctly on my Mambo site any ideas?
Paul Irish | Nov 14 2005 at 1:35 pm
The editable breadcrumb is a brilliant UI idea! Love it.

I love the tagrolls! Brilliant idea!
andrew morton | Nov 16 2005 at 3:49 pm
i hope you can make it a little easier to find the toolbar bookmarking links, it took me a little searching to find them.
ivan | Nov 17 2005 at 1:50 pm
zealander: Go to settings, then inbox. I liked the subscribe link too.
new look | Nov 22 2005 at 12:11 am
the new look is nice!
Andrea | Nov 22 2005 at 6:13 pm
Love the new look and features, very stylish. But I’m wondering if a character limit for the ‘notes’ field is somewhere on the to-do list, too?
I was hoping the bigger box meant I could go wild(ish) with quotes, but apparently I *still* have to go back several times and fine-tune the allowed description length if I want to include a longer paragraph from a website (without it being cut off in the middle of a word). Input limit, please?
Oh, and I might be alone in this, but the term “editable breadcrumb” confused the heck out of me. Even after reading the relevant help section, I had only a vague idea of what it did, and then at some point it suddenly clicked. It’s a cool idea, but the term “editable” to me implies longterm changes (”Edit this breadcrumb if you doesn’t like what it says”) instead of using the trail for *navigating* between tag views. Maybe that’s an English-as-second-language issue, though.

And apparently my line breaks got eaten. Sorry ’bout the mess, but the preview page looked a bit wonky overall, so I thought it’d be okay once I post. Guess not, then.
NellyWupp | Nov 24 2005 at 6:31 pm
I really love the tagrolls - great feature, thanks!
I only wonder, if there might be a way some day to specify certain bundle or even to get back my tags first sorted by bundle(s) and second sorted by tags. It would also be nice to be able to specify the line-height.
But alright then - always one step at a time…

I now miss the “recommendations” feature when posting to del.icio.us: usually when posting a popular URL to delicous, I get a list of tags from other users recommended. But today, I see only the list of my own tags. How come?
Test it:
* Open http://del.icio.us/post/
* Enter http://www.google.com
* Press “Save”
Are you seeing other peoples tags or am I missing something?
Cheers
Daniel
xamevou | Nov 25 2005 at 8:53 pm
Daniel, the same happens to me. I really loved that feature and I miss it so much…
bill | Dec 1 2005 at 10:42 am
I just found tagrolls: very cool! However, chalk me up as another one who misses the ’subscribe’ link on every page.
Note to zealander and others: you can still subscribe to other deliciousers from the ‘edit inbox’ page (http://del.icio.us/settings/username/inbox). Antisocial is also under your settings (http://del.icio.us/settings/username/antisocial).

The tagroll feature is great! I’ve been wanting something like this for a while now. I know bundles are still listed as “experimental”, but how soon can we get a bundle display option in the tagroll? That would be ideal for my site.

Dude! Gopher support! I haven’t used a gopher in years! I so totally miss them, too. Gophers were amazingly wonderful.
Personally, I’d love to see gopher make a comeback. Especially in web2.0. I mean, look at it this way, a lot of people are trying to browse more quickly and effectively, and leave the slow web (with images, heavy javascript, java, etc…) behind. Gopher just makes sense, if you can manage it. Faster, more streamlined information retrieval. Set up in a familiar directory-style format.
Man, I wish I was a great coder, so I could work with you guys on the gopher project. PLEASE don’t abandon it, now that you’re at y!

Your help page, http://del.icio.us/help/navigation explains tagging intersection:
View bookmarks tagged “france” and “politics” (an intersection):
del.icio.us/tag/france+politics —
View bookmarks tagged “france” and “politics” by Tom:
del.icio.us/tom/france+politics.
This intersection *always* returns 0 results, no matter the tags given.
I noticed there is new syntax, e.g. http://del.icio.us/search/?all=politics+progressive
but RSS feeds are not available.
One can get an RSS feed when viewing only one tag, but I can see no way to do this with multiple tags.
I have a webpage that provides feeds based on the del.icio.us/tag/tag1+tag2 format, which no longer works. What is the correct way to get mult-tag feeds?
