make friends and influence people
We are continuing to build out the your network feature we launched recently. We’ve added a new area called “your fans”, which lets you see users who have added you to their network. We’ve also added a privacy option, so you can hide your network from other users. Finally, we added a link to everyone’s bookmarks page that makes it easier for people to view your network. This will help you find interesting new people on del.icio.us, much like you use tags to find interesting new links.

Now if there was just some way to get an RSS feed of the tags applied to any URL in del.ico.us! But perhaps its more basic users than would be interested in that that are the target of these changes. One way or the other, making sure there’s automatic notification possible whenever an object is commented on would be ideal.

Very cool!
Any possibility of getting periodic dumps of the network? (I know it’s unlikely, but thought I’d ask. think of the eye candy possibilities! ;)

Adding a dash of more ’social’ to the ‘networking’. Good to see you are always innovating.

Thanks for new features,
I would like to see ability to sort all bookmarks by frequency of use, not only tags on right.
Thanks,

I agree with Samir’s post. I too would like the ability to sort all bookmarks by frequency of use, not only tags on right. In the alternative, del.icio.us should develop a mechanism by which users can add stars or another designation for their favorite links. For now, I have addressed the issue by creating my own “favorites” label.

I’m all puzzled! I don’t have a My Fans link on my Network page, but when I go to Network Badges and click ’show fan count’ it says I’ve 888 fans. Why’s that?
