two great tastes
While looking at some data, I noticed that pictures on flickr are some of the most saved pages on del.icio.us. A quick flurry of instant messages later, and now we automatically show a thumbnail of the saved photo. To commemorate the occasion, I have expanded our Blogging Policy to allow photos of small dogs in our “cat pictures” category.

Del.icio.us 增加 Flickr 缩略图显示
这是一个非常好的消息,能和blogmarks、Blinklist显示网页摘要的缩略图,Yahoo收购del.icio.us和Filckr之后的第一次友意义真正的动作。在del.icio.us的

It would be great if by logging in the system remembered that I prefer to view my tags in a cloud and that I prefer 25 bookmarks per page, etc. Rather than having the settings stored in cookies that many browsers erase nowadays.

Joshua, it’s so nice!
But what do I have to do to see the thumbnail also on my web/blog ?
Is there any js script as with the playtagger?

I’m surprised you guys haven’t mentioned this earlier. I noticed it almost two weeks ago (http://www.martingordon.org/blog/2006/04/27/flickr-thumbnails-now-show-up-on-delicious/)

As this is a neat idea and I was thinking about it since last week, I decided to write a small greasemonkey script using Flickr api to do display flickr photo thumbnail next to any link to a flickr photo page on the web.
Get it here:

Nice. How about adding MediaRSS extensions to your feeds so we get the thumbnails in our feed readers? Flickr does this and it works very nicely with FeedDemon.

Martin, I was just going to slip it by as I did not think anyone would care too much.
The question is — what other sites or services can be similarly thumbnailed?

USABILITY Enhancement:
On the arrange your tags page:
http://del.icio.us/settings/movil/tags (mine)
instead of a normal Select box, it should be a wider one with select multiple turn on.
Otherwise it’s just too hard to delete a bunch of non used tags all together.

why not extend this feature to any posts tagged system:filetype:media:image? in this case i wouldn’t need wists.com anymore.

The ability to turn thumbnails off from my Settings would be nice. Del.icio.us’ light text-only UI is one of my favorite things about the site. =P

What would be even more useful for MY OWN bookmarks (compared to browsing inbox) is having a screenshot of page for EVERY bookmark I have. It would save much time to remember what name exactly did I give to the page that looked like this…
Just an example: http://search.seznam.cz/searchScreen?w=bookmarks&mod=f
