Why do I get the feeling that phrase gets used around the del.icio.us offices pretty much every 10-15 seconds?

  • Aaron  |  Dec 14 2006 at 10:12 pm

Pics of the new serverz or it’s just downtime!

  • joshua  |  Dec 15 2006 at 12:17 am

Aaron - the colos are far away from us. I’ve never even seen the pile of gear we’re currently running on :(

  • warpedshadow  |  Dec 15 2006 at 2:37 am

I don’t suppose you could also put your times in GMT, it a damn pain having to remember the time difference between the numerouse USA timezones and our own.

  • Carey Evans  |  Dec 15 2006 at 4:02 am

A link to the correct page from http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedform.html would help a lot more than just the time in GMT.

  • Ribonucleic  |  Dec 15 2006 at 11:55 am

To the time zone complainer: Show some compassion in this holiday season. With our military and currency both debunked, surely you won’t begrudge us projecting global influence in one of the few ways we have left.

Hi Brian, I was reading on a page elsewhere that you had an HP 2100 that just chuggs along quite nicely. Mine did too (HP 2100m) under OS 9 with the old apple talk transceivers. However now in OS X 10.28 with my ethernet network (w/ an HP Jetdirect card J3111, SMC router and Asante switch) I can’t get anything useful in appletalk or IP. Nothing to add in print center in Appletalk and w/ IP, print jobs don’t seem to reach printer. I really like my printer and want to continue to use it! What did you do? Any suggestions? Sincerely Alexander ForensicEye@aol.com

  • Bruce Wagner  |  Dec 18 2006 at 11:26 am

    Greetings…

SOMETHING IS WRONG with the page rendering now.

Ever since this upgrade, my delicious pages do not form correctly.

Instead of the tags all appearing in a shaded area on the right of the page… The tags all are listed in one long column on the left… And only at the very bottom of all my tags… do my actual bookmarks begin…

Also, now there is a “skip to content” link…?

I sure hope this is a bug… and not a “design improvement”… because it renders delicious unusable for my purposes… if I have to scroll down 20 screens heights to get to my links…

Nice job on using the main site to point to blog and the blog to give frequent/regular updates on progress (ps. is that cat scared of ceiling cat ;)

  • Fabella  |  Dec 19 2006 at 1:39 pm

For some reason, all the bookmarks for tags I’ve searched are now stuck at 2 days ago — and considering the tags I’m searching often have new stuff pop up every few minutes, I think there’s a problem. Is anyone else having this issue?

  • Ryan  |  Dec 19 2006 at 2:04 pm

I’m having the same issue, I think I’ll look to see if I can find an email address for tech support.

  • britta  |  Dec 19 2006 at 7:44 pm

http://del.icio.us/help/contact - but i’m sure they know about the lag already and are working on it…

  • sp  |  Dec 20 2006 at 3:35 am

i’m having the same problem as Bruce above. something wrong with the server transfer?

  • joshua  |  Dec 20 2006 at 11:03 am

This shouldn’t be happening, please send a bug description (what urls are are stuck, your userid, etc) to joshua at del.icio.us via email…

  • Twan van Elk  |  Dec 21 2006 at 7:41 pm

Dont know if this is related, but a few days ago I started cleaning up my tags. This morning I was ready. Just one minor issue: one tag with no links attached to it. No problem: delete the tag. Yes problem: all my old tags are back!

Strange about all this is that the tags under each link are the new ones, the tag list itself (to the right) shows the old ones.

(Used the contact form but no reaction yet.)

Hey guys. It is really slow! I don’t know if I got a peak or something, but it is just too slow. Should I move to google bookmarks?

  • Javier Cañada  |  Jan 17 2007 at 11:21 am

Behavior seems erratic right now (17:16 ECT). no problem at mt homepage, but:

    - Last night I tagged some stuff with “_toread” and today the tag only shows 3 posts eventhough it says “showing al 9 items”.

    - I try to delete one item and it constanty reappears in the list (yes, I emptied my cache)

    - Some items appear and disappear randomly from the tag view…

Please, take a look at it. Thank you!!

  • Mike  |  Jan 21 2007 at 6:19 am

    Waauw, seventeen months!

  • Daiko  |  Jan 31 2007 at 6:24 pm

-I still wish that del.icio.us had a proper forum (linked to our user names) on here for things of this variety -it would be good to have a place to report bugs and to watch for updates/news on the site in general :(

also, this blog system needs a way to have the comments screened or something since there seems to be a lot of advertisements posting as real valid comments when obviously they are not…

I have a problem with my bookmarks here, even after I post my shared links when I check who else has bookmarked them, my description fails to show up at times (and it appears as if I haven’t listed the URL at all)! I’m thinking that this is going to pass, but I’ve seen it multiple times now and want to let you (and others) know that this bug exists

-anyway, Thank you Joshua aside from what I’ve said, del.icio.us is great~ (get us a proper forum or at least enable HTML/line breaks in the commenting system here please

Like every other person I was very much sceptical about purchasing products online or do business with online stores.

This was my very first experience with an online store called Watchez, http://www.replica-watch-shopping.com. I am a very big fan of watches and i love to collect them.

After days of searching through the net I came across this beautifully done website which grabbed my attention. The watches displayed on this website are beautifull, you shall find almost all the famous brand’s of Replica wrist watches here. The layout of thye website is well done which makes it easier for the customer to select his brand of watch and also selecting a particular watch in that given brand. The price’s of the watches displayed on Watchez.com are reasonable and I guess most of us can afford it. The pictures shown on the website are great and it gives you the feel of the watch.

Before purchasing an product from them I did interact with their online support staff, which gave me prompt answers to all my questions. I found the information given by them very helpful which also made me select the right watch for myself.

I soon placed an order with them for a Bvlgari Watch, which arrived to me by two weeks.I was happy with the prompt delivery. The quality of the watch was great, it felt and weighed like the orignal watch. What else could i say?? All my friends are very much impressed with the watch and have recomended this website to many of my friends.
