that was fast

Cat in the comforter closeup
by conradh.

We passed our two millionth user signup at the beginning of this month. Because we’ve been very busy keeping up with the load, we didn’t have time to come up with something up to our normally high standard of wit (I was going to refer to server smoke but it seems I did that last time) so here is a cat picture I found on the internet.

Nice. That’s what exponential growth’ll get ya.

And, to be more specific (and in keeping with internet memology) that would be a cat with a comforter on its head.

You mean you actually found a picture of a cat on flickr? Massive!

What is not fast at all is the speed at which every change I make in the tag bundle page is shown at ‘Your bookmark’ site. Why does this happen? Has anyone been able to experience this?

How many active users does del.icio.us have? It’s one thing to have 2 million registered users but another thing to have 2 million active users.

How do you use this site anyway? I get the bookmark thing - wot I don’t get is how you surf other peoples stuff and where you blog

It is a great place to save research for papers and for travel.

Trivia for trivia, how many bookmarks one has in average?

OK, guys, I’m really not getting why you’re not either using a spam suppressor robot or getting some/more admin help from Yahoo in suppressing spam. Do you really LIKE seeing all this crap on your blog and having to spend valuable development time dealing with it? Best, M.
