For those who are on the iPhone, here is what is in the video:
#1: Open Safari (on Mac or Windows), go to http://del.icio.us/help/buttons and drag the post to del.icio.us link to the Safari bookmarks bar.
#2: Plug in your iPhone (or iPod touch). Make sure that you are syncing Safari bookmarks with it, and let your iPod touch/iPhone sync.
#3: Open Safari on your iPhone/iPod touch and browse to a site you’d like to bookmark. Then, simply open up your bookmarks menu, and select post to del.icio.us. This will take you to the del.icio.us website, where you can select tags, type a description, and that’s it — the url and title is already in there for you!
#4: When you hit submit, you will return to the page you were bookmarking.
Essentially, this is just like using the del.icio.us bookmarklet on your computer, but it’s on an iPhone or iPod touch.

I wish there was a search window where I can find items that I have bookmarked (or other people have bookmarked) that meet more than one tag requirement.
For example, if I have an “economics” tag that contains several items, I might want to find “labour” tags that are also tagged “economics”. I may also want to find items that are additionally tagged “data.”
I would love to be able to do a search for bookmarks for using a query such as:
economics+labour+data
and effectively dig through 3 tiers of tags to get something very specific.

Britta Gustafson | Mar 2 2008 at 4:29 pm
Erin: It’s a bit of a hidden feature, but you can combine tags like that. For example, if you’re visiting http://del.icio.us/britta/money you can click the “+” signs in the “related tags” list to get http://del.icio.us/britta/money+business (and so on).
Mondo Apero | Mar 3 2008 at 10:59 am
This is very nice, but it would be even nicer if the addon for FF3 worked - FF3 beta 4 is due for release and still no sign of a working delicious addon - the only one out of my 28 addons that does not work :(
Nick (del.icio.us PM) | Mar 3 2008 at 8:51 pm
FF3 support is in the works- subscribe to our delicious-firefox-extension yahoogroup to get updates on our progress.
Erin | Mar 4 2008 at 7:01 am
Thanks, Britta. But it’s not quite what i have in mind. The problem with the method you suggest is that once you click on the related tags, you simply end up at that other tag. In other words, there is no way to isolate the items that have more than one tag in common.
If I want to quickly find “data” related to “economics” related to “labour,” I cannot do this as efficiently as I want to by using delicious — I dislike browsing through tags one at a time.
Delicious is by far my favourite bookmarker. I’m just griping, I guess.
Erin | Mar 4 2008 at 7:05 am
Oh shit, you’re right.
Thanks Britta! You’re awesome! Delcious is awesome too. The world is great again. I love you guys
Erin | Mar 4 2008 at 7:14 am
um, I would like to be able to do that with three tags or more, please. :|
ok. I’m done now. zip
Britta Gustafson | Mar 4 2008 at 2:00 pm
You’re welcome! You can continue clicking the “+”s in the “related tags” list to get to combinations of three or more tags: http://del.icio.us/britta/money+business+advertising
You can also edit the URL in your browser directly to access tag combinations - try typing in http://del.icio.us/—username—/data+economics+labour
We’re definitely making this feature easier to find in future versions of Delicious.
Erin | Mar 4 2008 at 8:57 pm
Thanks again, Britta.
The trick works for me, but only for a maximum of two tags. I’ve tried clicking on the “+”’s and I’ve tried editing my url. Both methods work for me, but not for more than 2 tags.
I’ve tried this several times to bring up items that I know have 3 particular tags.
Could I be doing something wrong?
Britta Gustafson | Mar 5 2008 at 3:59 am
What’s your username, and what are the tags? I’ll take a look. If you like, you can mail me at feedback(at)del.icio.us instead of continuing in comments. :)

In case Nick doesn’t get the email I just sent him …
Hi Nick,
I’ve tried to post a reply to http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/delicious-firefox-extension/message/2121?threaded=1&p=7, but my messages aren’t appearing even though the site says my posts were successful.
So, here’s what I wrote (and thankfully saved before Y!Groups ate it):
Nick, (or anyone at delicious) - you need to just *communicate* with your users about this. There are hundreds (thousands?) of people trying to get delicious working with FF3 and finding official information is like searching for sugar in a snow drift.
You have an official blog - why not *use it* (instead of this clunky Yahoo junk)?! It takes a couple of minutes to post a progress update - even if it’s just a once-a-month “we’re still working on FF3 extension, no delivery date yet”, people will be happy(ish) - but they get pissed off when they’re kept in the dark and unable to use essential tools.
[/rant]
I’d have sent this to Britta Gustafson, community manager intern - but I couldn’t find an email address for him. How ironic.
Cheers.
M.
