Cat in the comforter closeup
by conradh.

We passed our two millionth user signup at the beginning of this month. Because we’ve been very busy keeping up with the load, we didn’t have time to come up with something up to our normally high standard of wit (I was going to refer to server smoke but it seems I did that last time) so here is a cat picture I found on the internet.

two great tastes

While looking at some data, I noticed that pictures on flickr are some of the most saved pages on del.icio.us. A quick flurry of instant messages later, and now we automatically show a thumbnail of the saved photo. To commemorate the occasion, I have expanded our Blogging Policy to allow photos of small dogs in our “cat pictures” category.

welcome to the official del.icio.us blog

Koty In the interest of increasing communication with our users, I’ve decided launch ourselves into the blogosphere and begin a corporate blog. We’ll talk about del.icio.us, upcoming features, site status and cat pictures. We also will be using it as a showcase for our coming blog integration tools and to highlight some of the great stuff people have done with the API.
